Clara Grassi was born in 1982 on Lake Iseo
Clara’s creative life begins when she was a child; with some screws, bolts and old pieces of wood found in the cellar of her father she started building some small games.
During the high school period she experimented the oil painting and she started drawing as a self-taught. Then, in Milan, Clara started attending the school for Art Direction and, at the same time, a private three years course where she learned about a lot of artistic techniques.
In the following years she also created artistic and creative laboratories for schools and libraries and started working as an illustrator for the Pedagogical Institute of Bolzano. She worked as a freelance for Giochi Preziosi, Poste Italiane, Editrice Giochi, MUSE in Trento, Save the Children and Feltrinelli. The great success for Clara’s Pennuti Skizzati arrived with the collaboration with Feltrinelli, one of the most important Italian editors.
Clara created for Feltrinelli a stationary line with diaries, copybooks, pencils and a lot of other gift ideas. In 2013 she also opened a small gifts shop dedicated to all her creations.
With the arrival of her daughter, Clara started dedicating her time to her brands Pennuti Skizzati and Skizzoo, that nowadays have a new marketing agent: Atlantyca Entertainment (a transmedial society with a specific sector dedicated to the licensing). During 2017 the brand Pennuti Skizzati was presented by Atlantyca Entertainment at the Brand Licensing Europe Fair in London and at MIPCOM in Cannes. 2018 just begun with a great surprise for Pennuti Skizzati: the presentation at the 86th edition of Pitti Bimbo in Florence.
